Seasonal home maintenace will help retain value for your home and save you aggravation down the road especially when you decide to sell your home.

Here are a few items for you to consider:

 Check the foundation walls, floors, concrete and masonry for cracking, heaving or deterioration.

Check masonry chimneys for loose, deteriorated brick or missing mortar.

Take a look at the roof and check for missing, loose or damaged shingles. And while your ladder is out clean out the eavesthrough of all the fall and winter debris. 

Check all window hardware for proper operation. Look for broken glass, breached seals and damaged or missing screens.

 Check water heater for leaks and corrosion. Flush your water heater per manufacturer’s instructions.

Check lawn sprinkler system for leaky valves.

On the inside of your home take a look at the caulking around showers, bathtubs, sinks and toilet bases.
